Athletics & Activities Fundraising
The purpose of the Athletics and Activities Department is to promote the intellectual, physical and moral development of students - encompassing the goals of our Marist mission statement. Through athletic and activity participation, our students learn a self-discipline that has both present and long-term effects; the interplay of individual and team effort; pride and self-esteem in both victory and defeat; a skillful management of time; personal endurance and courage; and the complex relationships between friendship, leadership and service.
At Marist, we strive to make extracurricular activities available to all students at little to no cost to our families. However, quality athletic and activities programs require strong funding sources to ensure long-term viability.
There are three ways you can support Marist Athletics and Activities:
1. Sign Sponsorship
Show your support of quality Catholic high school education to the thousands of guests who visit Marist each year. Using the fence lines of the football, soccer, softball, track and baseball fields as well as the gym walls for sign placement, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your support of Marist and to the Marist Athletic/Activity Department. A sign sponsorship helps fund our general athletic/activity program as well as a specific sport or activity. Sponsors are able to designate 50% of the proceeds to a team or club of their choice.
We invite you to click the button below to view more information and complete the online sign sponsorship form. We are happy to discuss the artwork for your sign and how you can most effectively showcase your support.

2. Donations
This is a great way to take care of a specific need or to build the activity account of a team or club for future needs. All coaches and moderators are working with our Director of Athletics to build their funds in anticipation of future equipment, supplies and facility’s needs. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you about the specific needs of a sport or activity and about their future plans. You can designate a gift to these needs or build the accrual account to ensure that our programs remain accessible to all students. For more information, contact Rebecca Larson, Advancement Director, rlarson@marisths.org.
3. Support a Team Fundraiser
Help our teams and clubs build their own resources. Each program coordinates their fundraisers with the Advancement Office and 100% of the proceeds are applied to their activity account. Whether buying a team raffle ticket, going to a pizza night or attending any of our many activities, your participation supports Marist’s efforts to offer activities that engage students and help them learn and grow in and out of the classroom.
