Assistant Coaches Scott Nelson McCall Sherrod
Coach Puskedra
Coach Puskedra has a strong background in running, including the following highlights to name a few:
He was a 12-time NCAA Division I All-American in Track and Cross Country at the University of Oregon. He was part of two NCAA National Cross Country Team Championships in 2007 and 2008. Those Cross Country teams were recently inducted into the University of Oregon Athletic Hall of Fame. As a professional, Luke ran in multiple Olympic Trials races. At the Chicago Marathon in 2015, he became one of the fastest 30 Americans in history at the marathon distance by running 2:10:24.
It has become clear over the past year, as Coach Puskedra has worked in the program as an assistant, that he is now focused on giving back what he has learned in the sport to help students at Marist.
